Caring for our Heritage

The Parish of St John’s Raymond Terrace was established in 1838, and has been the centre of Anglican Ministry in the town and area ever since.

As well as our Walker Organ, now beautifully restored thanks to the great generosity of so many, we also need to maintain our church designed by Edward Blacket, a very well known colonial architect, and our sandstone rectory that has been the home of each of the parish rectors since 1848.

We work hard here to preserve what is of value from the past, serve in our present community and to lay a solid foundation for those who come after us. By attending our dinner, you will help us in this work.
