The Anglican Parish of Raymond Terrace
We are an open and inclusive group of Christians, worshipping God in Jesus Christ. People from many different Christian traditions make up our congregation. Our worship is based on A Prayer Book for Australia, and our music is both traditional and more modern.
These pages will let you browse around and find out something about what we do on Sunday, and indeed in the rest of the week, and why we do it. Perhaps you have not been to church for a very long time, or maybe not at all. We have tried to give you some idea what to expect if you came along to St John's Raymond Terrace on a normal Sunday Morning.

Sunday Service Times
Our regular Sunday worship follows the Eucharish, or Holy Communion Service, in the Anglican Prayer Book for Australia. This is what Christians have done for almost the last two thousand years. Baptism and Holy Communion are the two most central of Christian services. We call them the Sacraments of the Lord, because in the Gospels we read Jesus' specific commandment to the church to do these two things. Sunday services are held each week at
