About our Parish

sanctuary at St John's

We are a parish of the Anglican Church of Australia, Diocese of Newcastle. We live in Raymond Terrace, a large town on the junction of the Hunter and Williams Rivers.

This web site is for you ...

In our new web site you will find a page called 'What is this all about?' This page provides some simple explanations of what is happening in Anglican worship." And how to get through it if you are new or a visitor.

There are also links from that page to find out more about the Christian Faith and about the Anglican way of doing things. There are also links to other web sites for those who wish to find more resources.

If you have questions, issues, or suggestions for useful links, why not click on the email link at the bottom of the page and let me know!

May all who browse these pages, be they seekers, doubters, or just plain curious, Christians of other persuasion, Anglicans of one kind or another, or regular worshippers at St John's Raymond Terrace, find something to help.

Find out something about our parish life

Have a look at our Galleries Page ... here we have some picture galleries of various aspects of our parish family life. We have photos showing something of our worship, of some of the activities, our service, our fun, and of our Rivergum activities. Have a browse through.
