Parish Council

The Parish Council (PC) is the legal entity of the parish that interacts with the diocese as representatives of the parish of Raymond Terrace. Some of the members are elected at our AGM and some are appointed by the parish priest. Roles undertaken by the PC include: Treasurer, Wardens, Secretary, WHS Officer, and Synod Reps.

There are both Guardians and Bursars on the PC to provide a continuity of governance for the whole parish. The context of PC meetings is always prayer and seeking God's will for our parish.

All decisions made by the PC are minuted and are available for the whole parish to see on our notice board at church. We believe in open, transparent, and accountable methods for the running of the church; and share the soul aim of building Christ's Church.
